MONTHLY MEETINGS

The Board and Directors meet monthly to plan and implement our festivals and other events. 


Each board member’s term is two years, and some positions are able to be re-elected for multiple consecutive terms.  If you are interested in helping out in a leadership capacity, please feel free to reach out to a member of the board at any time.  Our Branch can’t operate without the help of volunteers!

In addition to board meetings, special general membership meetings are held throughout the year and include masterclasses for intermediate and advanced students, new music materials from publishers, teacher idea sharing workshops, Alexander Technique, and more!  If you have ideas for meetings you’d like to share, please reach out to the Programming Director.

As a special thank-you for your volunteerism, all board and directors are invited to an annual appreciation dinner.

Board Positions Include:

  • President

  • 1st Vice President (website & newsletter)

  • 2nd Vice President (monthly meeting programming)

  • Recording Secretary (takes board meeting minutes)

  • Membership Secretary (handles correspondence with new branch members)

  • Corresponding Secretary (sends cards and keeps in touch with members who may be sick, celebrating a new baby, etc.)

  • Director: Bach & Baroque Festivals

  • Director: Holiday Festival

  • Director: Ensemble Festival

  • Director: Branch Competition & Scholarships

  • Director: Branch Studio Recitals & Certificate of Merit Honors Recital
