BRANCH PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE from Celine

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends.  Certificate of Merit is now fast approaching.  The importance of Karen Becker’s email reminders cannot be overstated.  Please do read those thoroughly.  For those of you new to our branch, if you want to involve your students in the Baroque or Bach Festivals, it is important to now decide on their repertoire.  The Ensemble Festival is also right around the corner, that tends to sneak up on us with so many other spring events.  The sooner we plan for these events, the more confident our students become.  I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming master class!

CM NEWS from Karen

* If you are having any issues regarding Repertoire input please contact Beverly for assistance.

* Feel free to email me about any other issues you are having.

* Deadline for Repertoire input is January 15.  Please get this done early in case you have a problem so we have lots of time to address it.

* When entering your repertoire, please make sure you put siblings together as carpools so they will be scheduled close to one another.

* All AM & PM requests must be entered before the 15th.  There must be an urgent reason to make a request.

I will be working on the student schedule approximately one week after the deadline and Teacher work assignments will be completed after that.

Please let me know if you have any questions and best of luck with your students this year.

PV-V MTAC BRANCH STUDIO RECITALS from Nicole

Branch Studio Recitals are set up so that PV-VC MTAC teachers may use the First United Methodist Church for personal studio recitals at a reduced rate of $40.00 per hour.

The parlor is available for refreshments during your reserved time. You must reserve enough time for set-up, refreshments, and clean-up. You must be completely finished in time for the next reservation.

To reserve times, email your desired date and time to Nicole Burns at BurnsPianoStudio@aol.com

Once your reservation is confirmed, send a check ($40 per hour) payable to PV-VC MTAC to Nicole A. Burns. This is non-refundable.  You may exchange within the Branch or forfeit. A wait-list for dates and times will be accepted.

There will be penalties, both financial and denied future privileges, if any messes are left, including pews (cards, pencils, hymnals, and registration books), restrooms, kitchen, or parlor.
