BRANCH PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

What a great turnout we had at the September Information Meeting. Besides our regular attendees and our active members, it was great to see members we haven’t seen for a while. We all enjoyed a busy and informative meeting about all of the programs for the coming year. We took a new Branch group photo which will be posted on the website soon. Our new directory was handed out and everything we need to know is in this directory thanks to Judy Johnson. Remember to keep up with the monthly newsletter and our website at pv-vcmtac.org for additional updates and reminders. We are extremely grateful to Niccole Modell for keeping us all up-to-date.

Our October program will be a MANDATORY CM Teacher Training Session by our CM Chair, Beverly Schmidt. If you participate in CM you must attend! The new database will be explained in detail. If you are considering doing CM for the first time, this is also a great time to learn about the program and ask questions. Of course, refreshments will follow the presentation.

I look forward to seeing many of you in October!

~Nicole

CM NEWS from Beverly

It was good to see so many of you at the September 19 meeting.  By now most of you are migrating or have already migrated all of your students. I have had questions about how to add new students, how to transfer students, how to change spellings of names, etc. Some parents had problems with the email process and some didn’t.  Some parents in my studio did not want to do it at all.  We are all learning the new Database together and things are going pretty well. Feel free to keep asking question!

We will be having a mandatory CM meeting on Friday, October 7, at the First United Methodist Church in Ventura. We will present a power point program that will take you through everything you will need to know for this coming year  See you there.
