GREETINGS FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Thanks to everyone who voted; we now have a great new set of board members to install at our June Potluck & Installation.  Edward Francis, the President of the Conejo Valley Branch, will be our installing officer.  Everyone is invited to attend this event—just let Lily or myself know what dish you will be sharing.

It is a pleasure to have two of our newer members joining the board:  Jeong-ah Ryu & Becca Stankis.  Jeong-ah has volunteered to be Bach chair this year.  Caitlin Boruch, another newer member of our branch, has said she is willing to chair a CM Honors Recital in the spring.

Thanks go to Celine Gietzen and her many helpers for another very successful Ensemble Festival.  The students seemed to enjoy this festival so much & looked outstanding in their new green t-shirts.

The Teacher Matinee was the best ever.  Our talented teachers outdid themselves with fine performances on the flute, violin, and piano.  Our appreciation to Karen Becker & Fern Fay for making it happen.

It has been an honor and a privilege being your president for the past two years.  This is a fabulous branch, with so many dedicated teachers who make the job much easier.  Thanks for giving me the opportunity to serve.
