GREETINGS FROM OUR PRESIDENT

First of all I want to say that our Teacher Matinee was amazing this year. The performances were outstanding. Many students and families attended.

Our June meeting is coming up soon.  We will be working on the programs for next year. I am hoping for a large attendance with lots of input. We will also be having our annual potluck, and this year we will be installing new officers for 2014-2016. Our installation guest will be D’Anne Rygg, whom I am sure many of you know. She is a well- known teacher and adjudicator. She is a member of the San Fernando West Valley Branch.  Please contact Lily at 805-437-6518 or myself at 805-988-1764 to let us know what you would like to bring to the potluck.

If you have never attended the MTAC Convention and would like to this year, and you are the first member to contact me before June 15, you will receive a free convention registration.

If you have any personal or MTAC programs from this year, can you bring them to the June meeting?  We send them to the state office as per our ongoing every- member agreement with ASCAP.  Please remember to report a new address or phone number, or email address to the state office so that the new directory can be updated. Also, email this to me for our branch Directory and Website.

I have had a great two years serving as your branch president. It has been an honor and privilege. The board of directors I have worked with have always been there. The work ethic is strong. They have made my job easy.    Thanks so much to everyone.

~Beverly
